Our story

Peace & Grace was founded in 2024 by a devoted mother who recognised the need for a comprehensive support system for women, mothers and young people.

My journey through motherhood highlighted the importance of community and access to reliable resources.

We are starting as a small local support group that we hope will blossom into a vibrant community serving mums from all walks of life. The organisation has two directors and a steering committee.

To support and empower mothers through the early stages of parenting with helpful resources, expert advice and a warm community, and to extend that support into society.

Our dedicated team is composed of experienced professionals who are passionate about supporting others on their journey to achieve their destiny. Our team works tirelessly to create a welcoming and empowering environment for women, mothers and young people regardless of race, ethnicity and religion.

Project Director

Obtained a professional status in early education and childcare to help and support young children as they learn, develop and gain confidence for school, and has over 10 years of experience in early childhood education.

Social care professional supporting people with social and physical activities.

A dedicated mother of two turned director of Peace & Grace CIC. She channels her compassion and leadership into creating lasting community impact. Inspired by family and life experiences, she leads with empathy, vision and determination, empowering others, driving positive change, and ensuring the organisation supports those who need it most with care and integrity.

Mental Health Advisor

Retired Registered Mental Nurse, compassionate and caring. A mother of 4 children.

Adeline Otu-Danquah

Advisor, Safeguarding Officer

Volunteering as a safeguarding officer with the organisation. I'm a diligent and self-motivated care worker. I'm empathetic and understanding with a strong dedication to caring for others. I enjoy spending time with my family.

Mrs Elizabeth Abe

Advisor, Child Care

I love to help people passionately with all my knowledge and ability. I have been working with children for years and I am a proud mother of four children. I love to help the community and especially women from the Black community. I love travelling and pilgrimages.

Lucian Conteh

Advisor, Project Manager for Child Care

I have a degree in early years childhood study and over 15 years of experience caring for early years children. My passion is to see children achieve and develop into confident, lifelong learners. Outside my role, I enjoy going to the cinema, listening to gospel music and spending time with family.
